Careers FAQs

Can I apply to an open RN position on a particular unit?
Yes, however, only certain units take new graduates. Based on your skill level and our current needs we will work to find you a mutually satisfying position.

Who do I send my letters of reference to?
Letters of reference are not required upon applying. You are welcome to bring these in at the time of your interview.

I have applied and have not heard from anyone. Who can I contact?
We receive many applications and thoroughly screen each of them. Give your application time to be processed before attempting to contact the Recruiter. If you are identified as a potential fit for any of our openings you will be contacted by the Recruiter or Hiring Manager for an interview.

How long is my commitment to the unit of hire?
Peterson Health invests a significant amount of time and resources in each new hire. We suggest you discuss commitment with your hiring manager. Most units expect a commitment, although length of commitment may vary.
